I attended a class at barbara Jo's tonight (love their classes) on Jams and Jellies, specifically Christine Ferber's Mes Confitures.
I used to do so much jam, jelly and preserve making, but time constraints have depleted my will to can. I am all fired up again after tonights class. The Tomato and Apple Jam with Rosemary has my name all over it and I can't wait to make it.
Oh and hi to Trevor's Friend in Winnipeg!

That's funny that I should be posting something about a jam (well spread actually) the same time you do. The jam you want to make sounds very unique. I'd love to try it.
Gosh, I have this book and I find everything so daunting to me! Do you have any favorites to recommend?
I saw that class offered and thought of you. I really wanted to go to "The Perfect Scoop" class this week, but I can't. Hoping I can get to at least one class before I leave in November.
The jam sounds interesting. I'll be interested in your reviews; maybe I'll try it myself!
The jam sounds interesting. The book looks like something I would give to a friend who loves making jam.
Nice blog! Certainly nicer than my own cooking blog.
