Poutine

Sometimes, a body just craves junk food. This will probably gross a few of you out, but I lurve poutine, a treat with fries, cheese curds and hot gravy poured over it all.
Last week, we treated ourselves to some at home.

kickpleat ~ I really like belgian fries, not just their poutine. It is a bit of a trek for us westsiders, though.

Catesa, have you tried poutine? And Kraft Dinner (aka KD)? I am surprised.

Thansk Dawna!

Robin would love for me to make some of this. Did you make your own gravy? Did you use cheese curds? Poutine is the nickname Robin gave me when we first met. I have an online journal and my user name is Poutine. My email is Calipoutine. Even my friends call me Poutine.

Randi, we did not make our own gravy this time, but we usually have extra homemade gravy that we freeze for occaisions such as these. We used real cheese curds, the only way to go. That is so cute that your nickname is poutine!
