Smooth Sailing

The small things please me ~ when everything is ready for dinner at the exact same time, no waiting on the potatoes or overdoing the fish.

I made seared halibut with a roasted lemon beurre blanc, brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Posted by Picasa

I like brussel sprouts with a maple syrup and walnut vinaigrette- it's worth a try!

And do you plan to share the recipe for the roasted lemon buerre blanc? I make one with pineapple, but it's really sweet. Lemon sounds like it would be really really really good. Lemon juice, butter, cream?

Great cross-hatching on the brussies! Have you tried roasting them? High heat roasting with a little dab of chicken fat in the pan is my favourite way to have them.
