Weekend Cat Blogging

Aggie seems to have this idea in her head that if she rubs her nose on the tap and meows incessantly, water will magically flow ~ you would think she doesn't have a big bowl of fresh water waiting for her by her food dish!

The water in the dish never tastes as good as the water from a faucet, or dirty tub water, or a muddy puddle outside. That's just how they are. Just like food never tastes as good until it's been dropped on the floor.

Cute picture!

LOL!!! Yes, my cat also thinks water from her dish is so boring. Once day Aggie will figure out how to turn on the water by herself.

I was just commenting on this very thing over at cross-eyed kitty's. My can't will die of dehydration before she will drink out of a bowl. Ditto tap water. I don't know how she knows it's tap water but she does. She now has her own mug which I have to fill and hold for her to drink from. Yeah, yeah. I know, a sucker born every minute. \;+)

Ahem. Water should magically flow from the faucet when she does that. Hello? You're supposed to go turn it on for her. Geez, you obviously need some serious training. Poor kitty. Poor dehydrated, thirsty kitty. : )

Sweetnicks, thank you for the compliment! I thought the pic was a little blurry myself... but it gets the point across.
Kymster, I know I should know by know, cats are particular creatures.... I forget sometimes.
Sher, I hope that day never comes ~ I have a feeling she would just leave the tap running all the time.
B'gina, you just made me grateful for Aggie ~ at least she drinks from the tap ;p
Farmgirl, Scolding duly noted and accepted, I'll try to do better in the future ;)

I don't know what is is about cats and water. Mine wants fresh water PLUS ice cubes all the time. And the water can't just be out of the tap. We first have to let it sit to dechlorinate it and then pour it into his bowl.

LOL so cute, Tigger loves the tap too. Cats love running water, we have a CatIt fountain and i recommend them to everyone with cats. If she loves running water, she will love the drinking fountain :D
